On Tuesday 3rd February 2026 we held two further countywide online walk leader training sessions.

The sessions were around mental health awareness for walk and jog leaders from across Derby & Derbyshire and were hosted by the Derbyshire Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Team and Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support.

Thanks to all those who attended and contributed to a thoughtful discussion.

If you weren’t able to attend, the powerpoint that we followed on the day is below, along with a handout for participants and the Derbyshire Mental Health support map to help with signposting and finding activities that could support good mental health.
