Drop down across the cross road and into Howard town mill, around the path and out the other side onto Cliff road, at Cross Cliffs climb over the stile on your right and head up the field, pass through several gates up to brown hi l where you bear left through the field up to farms, onto Kidd road, passing a rabbit warren over 2 cattle grids, turn right at road head down towards Derbyshire level, at the crossroads turn left and follow the road a l the way to the A57, passing great views and the golf club. Cross the A57 onto Pyegrove follow the road for 50m on right there a path that leads you onto Shire Hill, follow the path up and over, leading down onto a footbridge on Shepley street, turn left towards the turning circle, turn right up Hope street, follow the road round to left, where you find Distant Hi ls brewery and restaurant. After you’ve taken a break, continue on hope street, down to wells, go right onto church street, follow it to Ha l meadows road, where a footpath into manor park on you left, pass through the park onto king Edward avenue crossing over onto foot way, which leads back to the train station.
