Using the Sandiacre Historical Trail Booklet created by Sandiacre Heritage Group we will ‘discover the secrets of days gone by on a delightful stroll around this fascinating village.’
This walk takes us through the streets, canal paths and public footpaths of Sandiacre, where we will be able to look at the various buildings and places featured in the booklet. Some hilly and bumpy paths are included. Halfway through the walk we will have a very exciting stop-off at the amazing Sandiacre Lock Cottages and Toll House along the canal for refreshments and a guided tour of the original building.
