This session will examine how green and blue spaces can support people to live healthier and more active lives and also the latest research on how investment in parks and green space can win votes from the community.

The Workshop will be facilitated by the Town & Country Planning Association and will include contributions from the University of Exeter, Natural England and a number of local organisations who are delivering good practice.

The workshop is aimed at planning, parks and open space, active travel, street scene, countryside professionals, along with those people and organisations who are supporting and enabling people to be active in their daily lives.
