First Steps ED is a specialist charity supporting individuals of all ages affected by eating disorders across the Midlands. We offer early intervention, one-to-one support, and group services for those experiencing difficulties, as well as their families and carers.

We believe that movement—when approached with care and compassion—can be an important part of recovery. That’s why so many of our supporters, including friends and family of those affected, choose to take on walking and running challenges to raise vital funds for our services.

The route starts and finishes at Silk Mill Park close to Derby Cathedral and takes in Pride Park Stadium, Alvaston Park and the stunning scenery of Elvaston Castle Country Park.
