Shipley Nordic Walking group

A weekly Nordic Walking group incorporating balance and coordination exercises during a Nordic Walk through nature. Afterwards we usually go to the cafe at the park. People new to Nordic Walking need to attend a technique workshop. We run these at the same location at 8:45-9:45am on Saturdays, but can be done at other times.…

Get Active in the Forest Parkinsons Group

Join us for this weekly social group for people with Parkinson’s and their families. We will go for a gentle Nordic Walk around the surfaced paths of the Forestry Centre, taking regular breaks at benches if needed. There’s plenty of options to do as much or as little as everyone requires.

The Easy Walking Group is a friendly, walking group that aims to provide gentle exercise for people who would like to improve their physical well-being and mental health. The walks are around Chesterfield town centre and start and finish at The Hub on Low Pavements, on first and third Thursdays of each month at 1.30pm.
