We’re excited to announce we are developing a new app to support people to walk more as part of their everyday lives in Derbyshire.
As part of this, we’d like to include your local open spaces to walk, along with some less well known walking routes.
So we need your help.
We’d like you to send us photographs of local open spaces or parks within your community and can include anywhere in Derbyshire or Derby. We’ll include these images in the app and everyone who sends us a photograph will be entered into a draw to win a prize of a £50 Love to Shop voucher.
Photos can be submitted between Monday 04 March 2024 and Friday 29 March 2024 and should be submitted to marketing@activepartnerstrust.org.uk Please include the name of the park/open space and its location within the submission.

Who is eligible?
The competition is open to anyone residing, working or studying in Derbyshire and Derby.
Submission Guidelines
Entrants must submit their work online. An image can be a JPEG (.jpeg, .jpg) or PNG (.png). Images must not exceed 4MB per file and a minimum of 1000 pixels wide. Please only use letters and numbers in the title of the image.
General
The Walk Derbyshire Photo competition is organised and managed by Active Partners Trust (APT) on behalf of Walk Derbyshire.
Use and Ownership of Materials
APT strives to ensure that work it exhibits has been produced in an ethical manner, with due respect to the dignity of the people and places depicted, with appropriate explicit consent, and in a way that does not place an individual at risk. Photographers should ensure they work in a manner appropriate to their subjects with due regard to collaboration and payments. APT reserves the right to request more information about submitted work and may, at its sole discretion, choose not to exhibit work.
The intellectual property of all entries remains with the photographer
Images entered into the photography competition must not infringe any copyright or the intellectual property rights of any third party
The entrant will indemnify APT in respect of any third-party claims
Entrants licence APT to reproduce, without payment, any images for publicity and promotion purposes for a period up to four years
Submission of any entry to the photo competition implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Entry
Prohibited Uses
The user undertakes to:
not introduce, integrate or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory and/or libelous, vulgar, obscene, damaging to other’s privacy, racist, classist or otherwise objectionable onto the website;
not upload, post, transmit or distribute content onto the website that may infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other industrial and/or intellectual property rights of third parties.
Personal Data
APT will hold and process personal information in connection with photo competition. We will use this to keep you informed about your entry. Entrants agree that personal data including, but not limited to, name, and email address may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used for the purposes of this competition
