    A walking trail of around 1 mile around Staveley Town which will take you to some places being developed as part of Staveley Town Deal and enable you to see the changing landscape in the area.

    Twice a month we walk near Bolsover Library on flat ground, adaptable walk to meet the needs of each individual and some local history too. Open to patients of Bolsover GP surgeries and anyone else who wants to join in.

    Short walk around the town centre, parks and local spaces from DVA Hub@Low Pavements. The Hub is a friendly, welcoming place to find out what’s going on in the local community, try arts, games, crafts, join the walk or just come and have a chat.1st & 3rd Tues at 12.00.

    Accessible Walk and Talk- Long Eaton

    A gentle, 1-2 mile, accessible walk on flat paths led by trained walk leaders. Suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users and people with reduced mobility. Disabled parking, toilets and cafe available.

  • MindSpace – Markeaton Park

    MindSpace – Markeaton Park

    The group meets every other Friday at Markeaton Park, meeting by the Model Railway Building next to the main Car Park at 10.30am. From there we take a gentle ‘walk and talk’ around the park, before heading back to the Car Park for 11.30/12pm. Please register before first attendance-click more info.

    These very steady walks will enable those living with dementia and carers supporting loved ones to enjoy meeting up, being outdoors and sharing your experiences. If you need someone to support you please don’t come on your own, unfortunately we can’t provide support.

    A gentle walk around Manor Park, Glossop. Meet near the footbridge in the carpark on Corn Street.

  • Five Pits Trail

    The Five Pits Trail is great for walkers, pram pushers, cyclists and horse riders. This 5.5 mile off-road surfaced route takes you from Grassmoor Country Park to Tibshelf Ponds. You can extend your route to 7.5 miles by exploring the route through Williamthorpe Ponds local nature reserve and Holmewood Woodlands. There are car parks at various points along the trail (see…
